auch diesen Monat stellen wir euch unseren Newcomer des Monats vor. Für den Monat August haben wir uns für den Sänger Mohombi entschieden.

Mohombi ist der neue Star am R&B-Himmel. Er ist ein Ausnahmetalent der besonderen Art und wird es im Musikbusiness zu etwas bringen. Davon ist sogar der Produzent RedOne überzeugt. ""Ich bin wahnsinnig froh darüber, diesen Deal mit Universal abgeschlossen zu haben. Schließlich weiß ich aus eigener Erfahrung, dass es die einzig richtige Plattform für meinen Sound und somit auch für die Künstler von meinem neuen Label ist.
Wir haben das große Glück, den Startschuss für 2101 Records mit einem Ausnahmetalent wie Mohombi geben zu können: Er kann einfach alles. Mohombi ist ein begnadeter Songschreiber, Sänger, Performer, Tänzer... ein echter Allround-Entertainer eben. Ich hab immer gute Laune, wenn ich einen seiner Songs höre, und ich bin fest davon überzeugt, dass er dieses Jahr so richtig durchstarten wird!"

Mohombi (23) ist der Sohn einer schwedischen Mutter und eines kongolesischen Vaters. Seine gemischten Kulturen lässt er somit auch in seine Songs einfließen. Mit seinem Song "Bumpy Ride" erobert er gerade die Welt und hat somit den Titel "Newcomer des Monats" hier bei BlackBeats.FM sichtlich verdient. Die offizielle Veröffentlichung des Songs findet am Freitag, den 3. September 2010 statt. Fest steht, dass es auch zwei Remixversionen geben wird, jeweils von Swedish House Mafia und Chuckie.
