BlackBeats.FM: Hallo Dean Burke aka Dirty-D. Willkommen zum Interview mit BlackBeats.FM, eines der größten Webradios Deutschlands im Black Music Bereich. Wie geht es dir?

Dean Burke aka Dirty-D: Mir geht es gut, danke.

BlackBeats.FM: Du bist in München, England und Berlin aufgewachsen. Bist du so oft umgezogen? Erzähl uns bitte etwas über deine Kindheit.

Dean Burke aka Dirty-D: Ok.

Gemeinsam mit AFO = A Footwork Orange (großartige Künstler).

Dean Burke aka Dirty-D: Alles!

BlackBeats.FM: Warum nimmst du an "Legends & Diamonds" teil? Was hälst du von diesem Projekt?

BlackBeats.FM: Hello Dean Burke aka Dirty-D. Welcome to the interview with BlackBeats.FM, one of Germany´s biggest webradiostation in the Black Music Genre. How are you?

Dean Burke aka Dirty-D: Im fine, thx.

BlackBeats.FM: You were raised in Munich, England and Berlin. Have you moved so often? Tell us something about your childhood please.

Dean Burke aka Dirty-D: Well i was never raised in Munich that’s some disinformation i have no idea where that came from, was raised in England and Berlin 2 cut a long story short i was 2 much 2 handle for my mom so it was either to Dad in Berlin (army) or a closed Boarding School in Uk due 2 being a trouble maker.

BlackBeats.FM: In the middle of the 90ies you have joined the Electropop- and Dancemusic-Band "Music Instructor". What has made you to do that?

Dean Burke aka Dirty-D: i was working with the producers of Music Instructor on a different project called Lunatics, 2 that time i was a very hungry M.C so it was very hard for them 2 produce anything without me jumping all on it, so one thing led 2 another the quicker they had the songs done the quicker i had the flows on there tracks as they saw that it was working we just didn’t stop and banged an album out in about 2weeks flat.

BlackBeats.FM: In the year 1999 a Dance-/Hip-Hop-Band with the name "Highland" appears with the first song "Bella Stella" in the musicbusiness. You have been responsible for the rap-parts in the song. Would you like to turn back the time and relive this time?

Dean Burke aka Dirty-D: 2 be honest... Nope. 2 the time of highland i was still on the road with Lunatics , Ayman and Music Instructor, as Elefant Music stepped up with the Highland Idea i told em it was crap but the producers eventually talked me in2 it so i drove down there for a day 2 write the album. As Bella Stella hit gold i was like "oh no now i got to do this shit a whole year" after a while i grew in2 it and could eventually identify myself with the classic crossover, besides the Italian women where digging the tunes he he.

BlackBeats.FM: Is it right, that you are planing a comeback of "Music Instructor"?

Dean Burke aka Dirty-D: that’s in the X files homeboy how the hell did u get that information? hahaha im not aloud 2 talk 2 much about it but since your spies are so outstanding hehe yeah we are working on a major comeback possibly a release this year, show is already locked n loaded a coop with AFO= A Footwork Orange (awesome artists).

BlackBeats.FM: What have you done after the time in "Highland"?

Dean Burke aka Dirty-D: uhm 2 much hahaha well besides doing a lot of ghost writing and productions for other artists iv been releasing alot of street material and working on my standup shows that should be hitting Germany this year And a lot of training.

BlackBeats.FM: What means the music for you?

Dean Burke aka Dirty-D: Everything! and i don’t mean like some pop star punk i mean its everything 2 me my alpha and omega my reason 2 exist ,no music = no life and surtanly no ambition 2 live, and putting it in words how it makes me feel would be like a micro living being trying 2 explain the universe. hope that helps a little.

BlackBeats.FM: Why are you taking part at "Legends & Diamonds"? What do you think about this project?

Dean Burke aka Dirty-D: Its awesome, sicker than ur average i mean come on man who isnt on that album of course i got to be a part of it, as Tumbo asked me 2 join the clan it wasn’t really an option.

BlackBeats.FM: What will you see when you look ahead?

Dean Burke aka Dirty-D: well my life’s always been a bit bumpy so I’m not expecting no smooth roads but a jeep maybe 2 bounce threw the hard times would help if u catch my drift.

BlackBeats.FM: Thanks so much for gaving us your time to do this interview. We wish you all the best for the future. Do you want to say anything yet?

Dean Burke aka Dirty-D: I thank you for your interest and yeah maybe a lil something for the people,.. There’s so much knowledge hidden in a book, but what they are counting on is that you never look, so when they tell you something please don’t forget....Think about it 1st, that’s not against the law YET!
