BlackBeats.FM: Hallo Reddy Roc.

Diese House Shows waren unglaublich.

BlackBeats.FM: Wie entstand dein Künstlername ”Reddy Roc”?

BlackBeats.FM: Was machst du in deiner Freizeit?

BlackBeats.FM: Hello Reddy Roc. Welcome to the interview with BlackBeats.FM, Germanys Web radio station for Hip Hop & Black Music. How are you?

Reddy Roc: I´m doing great and I must say it's a pleasure having me on your show.

BlackBeats.FM: If Reddy Roc is mentioned then we are talking about a rapper who hip Hop not only loves, but also lives. When and how did the love to the music raised in you?

Reddy Roc: I was always surrounded by music growing up. During my childhood my mother had all the classic jams from artists such as Michael Jackson, Prince, The Fat Boy, Salt and Pepper, Chubb Rock and more. My brother and I use to take her records and perform to them in the house as if we're the artist. We used any small objects that we could find to use as a microphone (hahaha). That feeling of having control and feeling like that spot light was on me during those house shows were incredible. Shortly after that I got into listening and studying the lyrics of big name artists such as Nas, The Notorious B.I.G, 2Pac, Mase, The Lox, Dmx, and Jay z. I started to write lyrics of my own because I was inspired by those artists. I wrote about my life and the events that were taking place in the neighborhood I was living in. Each time I was out rapping, I notice that friends and family was more observant to my lyrics. That pushed me more into the dream I am chasing.

BlackBeats.FM: Many stars appear one so far. But you are different, your fans get Your songs and videos as a free download and they can even contact you. That makes you very likeable. How important is it for you to be there for Your fans?

Reddy Roc: It's very important for me to be there for my fans. The energy and support that I receive from my fansr keeps me motivated to achieve my goals. I will continue to write more incredible music that my fans can relate to.

BlackBeats.FM: The family is very important to you. A few years ago you lost your Sister. This was a very great loss to you and your family. What kind of people has it made of you?

Reddy Roc: It definately made me a stronger person. It taught me how important family is. Never take life for granted and appreciate every aspect of life. You should always think positive, be open minded, and never let anyone discourage you from living life or dreams.

BlackBeats.FM: With which artists have you worked together and what experiences you have collected?

Reddy Roc: I've work with Gravy who has played the role of The Notorious B.I.G in THE NOTORIOUS film. Other artists I¹ve worked with recently are Jovan Dais, Don Jaymor, Pam, & M.I.C of 341 Music Group, Kid Sam, Shon Penn, Dontae Peeps, Tejai Moore etc. All of these artists are very talented and they help bring the best out of me. I've learn through these guys how to carry myself as an artist and how to become a better leader.

BlackBeats.FM: In your music career you are dealing with the genre Hip Hop. Are there Any other genres that you find interesting?

Reddy Roc: After Hip Hop R&b would be my second choice. I also find pop music very interesting; I love the creativity and energy that comes from it. One of my favorite pop artists is Bruno Mars. I think he's a dope artist.

BlackBeats.FM: What can your fans expect from you this year? Any new songs, videos or something else? I have so many surprises for my fans on the way. First I have the "ROCOCAIN" album coming with the help from my partners at 341 Music Group. This album will leave you hooked like the title (hahaha). ROCOCAIN is amazing and have awesome features on it. Huge shout out to my partners at 341 Veit Engelker, Timo Herzberg, and Florian Hazini. Those guys are the best. Next I have singles coming from Dj Little I and Tyro Productionz. The track coming from Tyro Productionz called "WE MADE IT² is one of my favorite tracks of 2014. I plan to shoot a video to this record within the next few months.

BlackBeats.FM: From what inspiration out was your artist name Reddy Roc built?

Reddy Roc: People from my home town gave me the nickname "Redd" from being a lighter
skin complexion. A former friend started calling me Reddy Roc and the name
grew on me.

BlackBeats.FM: What you are doing in your free time?

Reddy Roc: My free time is mostly spent exercising, spending time with my family and friends, but mostly in the studio creating new ideas for future hit records.

BlackBeats.FM: Thanks so much for this great interview. We wish you all the best.

Reddy Roc: You're welcome and again it¹s been a pleasure
