Soca music, the "(So)ul Of (Ca)lypso" is a genre of music that originated within a marginalized subculture in Trinidad and Tobago in the early 1970s, and developed into a range of styles by the 1980s and later, an offshoot of kaiso/calypso, with influences from Latin, cadence, funk and soul. Typical instruments you find in SOCA are Bass guitar, drums, acoustic guitar, vocals, trumpet, trombone, drum, machine synthesizer and sampler.

The high energy, sexually charged fast paced music would probably not work well under the quarantine period, but will open a window to a new universe in the musical galaxy and prepare you for the post quarantine party stage, where we will be celebrating our survival of the epidemic.
