DMX veröffentlicht Doppel-Album

c=images/news-pics/915_1199497549.jpg align=left>Bereits im Dezember berichteten wir, dass DMX einen neuen Deal bei Bodog Music unterschrieben hat und momentan zusammen mit Swizz Beatz an seinem neuen Solo-Album mit dem Titel "Walk With Me Now and You’ll Fly With Me Later" arbeitet (unsere News vom 20.12.2007).

Gegenüber MTV verriet nun der Yonkers-MC, dass der Longplayer ein Doppel-Album werden wird. Auf der zweiten CD bekommt man ausschließlich Gospel-Songs zu hören, ohne die üblichen DMX Lyrics.

[...] I [was] the first n*gga to put out two albums in one year [It's Dark and Hell Is Hot and Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood in 1998], now I'm gonna hit 'em again - drop two albums on the same f*ckin' day, yo. A double album will make motherf*ckers mad, because they gotta spend more money - plus it's already a long [double] album. I'm talking about a hip-hop album and a gospel album."

Erscheinen wird das Doppel-Album vorraussichtlich im Frühjahr über das Independent-Label Bodog Music.
